Flyers TV

After a quick glance at the OLN schedule I took note that there are 24 games to be broadcast in stunning high-definition. After another read I discovered that the Minnesota Wild are playing in a total of zero of these. 24 games, 48 teams and no Wild. Who then, you ask, is featured in these contests? Look no further than the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers. All told, these two hockey powerhouses (pun intended) play in 12 of these 24 games. Now, I realize that OLN's goal is to feature American hockey, but if your goal is to educate the American public about hockey and to draw viewers to the sport why do you put on teams of that caliber? I suppose I should be glad, however, that they don't feature the Blackhawks that much. Watching them in HD would surely drop hockey's viewership dramatically.

I think it has to do with Comcast promoting their HD-broadcasts as the "real thing".

Like most corporations they have yet to realize that most people live in the real world.

Just my thought.
