Game 5: Wild 5, Jackets 0

We might go 82-0-0. I write that only so I can look back later when we're having trouble scoring goals and remember the good days. Here we go:

1. Stephane Veilleux is a mean little f***er. The winger got into a fight tonight and showed he's got some spunk. Good for Stephane...who needs Boogaard?

2. Three point night for Brian Rolston. Even with the additions of Demitra and Johnsson, he's still this team's most complete player, leader and MVP.

3. The return of Brent Burns. Solid night for the young defenseman. Ended up +2 after playing for more than 18 minutes.

4. Only 9:33 for Jaroslav Balastik? Jes Golbez would be spinning in his grave if he were dead.

Now at last they hit the road. We'll get a real feel for just how good this team is by the end of next week after stops in Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Jose. Roy out.
