Ok, so it really wasn't much of a dousing, but a victory nonetheless. The Wild won 2-1 in a shootout, but the score could've easily been 4-1 if not for the efforts of Miikka Kipprosoff. Kipper was spectacular at times last night and kept the Flames in it and stole a point for Calgary.
Derek Boogaard and Eric Godard went at it in Round 2 of the clash and this time I give the edge (ever so slightly) to Boogaard. Godard got a couple of good shots in early, but I thought Boogaard took control towards the end, although I thought Boogaard took a could of cheap punches after the jersey was pulled over Godard's melon. Round 3 should be entertaining.
