A person has to wonder if the Vancouver Canucks will suffer any sort of letdown tonight because of Rory Fitzpatrick's all-star voting collapse. GM Place tonight may resemble the Al Gore residence after the 2000 Presidential election. In any event, tonight's game (9pm CST) will have huge ramnifications for the Northwest Division race. If the Wild continue their losing ways, Vancouver will extend its lead and the Wild will slip into the abyss that is the bottom tier of the Western Conference. With the Coyotes red-hot and the Blues, Jackets and Hawks all on the upswing, the Wild need to right the ship and right it soon.
Tonight I'm making teriyaki salmon and aspargus, topped off by a Guinness or three, depending on how the game goes.

I paid $100 for tonight's Mild/Canucks game. Pavol better score
Cheer up - there may yet be reason for hope in the Wilderness. It's not like the rest of the Northwest is going to run away and hide...
