First Place Wild

With tonight's 4-1 victory over a very chippy L.A. Kings team (*), the Minnesota Wild are in first place in the Northwest Division. Granted Vancouver has 2 games in hand, but let me bask in the moment for now.

(*) I used to be a Kings fan. Used to, until Marc Crawford took over as coach. That guy has brought his cheap, take-runs-at-guys-when-their-backs-are-turned style that he made famous in Colorado and Vancouver to Los Angeles. I hope he doesn't ruin the bright futures of Anze Kopitar, Patrick O'Sullivan and Jack Johnson.

Don't forget Mike Curry and his bright future.
