I'm going to bed, this is ridiculous. The Wild have been stung twice tonight by the noted offensive connection of Willie Mitchell and Jeff Cowan. Unbelieveable! I swear the rink is slanted towards the Wild net; they can't get the puck out of the zone to save their lives. Vancouver has clearly come to play tonight. Maybe I'll wake up in the morning to a Wild comeback and victory, but I'm not holding my breath. Losing Willie Mitchell still haunts me like that sausage pizza I had earlier today. Good night.
Update 3-5-07: Well, at least the Wild stormed back and got a point last night. Because of my hatred for all things Vancouver Canuck-related I haven't watched much Canuck hockey the last few months, but after watching last night's game I came away a bit impressed. I knew about Luongo and the Sedins, but they've got a pretty good thing going up there. Kevin Bieksa is a hell of a player. Vancouver is more than a great goalie and a trap, they are for real. Fortunately for the Wild, we only play them only once more, but we play the Oilers and Blues and combined five times.

Canucks wins! Canucks win!
Better luck next time.
The first two Wild goals were gifts from the Canucks. The third Wild goal was a beauty though.
Nonetheless, the Canucks certainly did come to play, and now you have to endure the endless rants and taunts of bandwagon CAnuck fans like me :-)
I thought for sure Rolston was going to wind up and slap it, but instead he made a sweet move and beat Luongo anyways.
Losing Willie Mitchell still haunts me
At the beginning of the season I thought we had overpaid for him. But good grief, he has to be one of the most underrated D-men in the league.
You went to BED?!? You go all over-the-top with your 'collapse of the Canucks' post and then you won't even stay up long enough to watch it all tumble down around you?
C'mon man, hockey's a gritty game. Show some!

Gotta love it when the Canucks are sharp and the Wild look like they all went out for double-doubles half an hour before game time, yet they still get a point and nearly two. You had to figure when Nummelin missed that it wasn't meant to be, though.
Regardless, hopefully we don't see too many more games with that kind of effort.
Booya! The Canucks beat the Wild at their own game, in a sense!
Yeehaw!
The Wild pairing of Demitra and Gaborik is damned scary though! Yeesh!
After hyping the game up, you went to bed? Even though Vancouver took it to them most of the night, the most the Wild were ever down was a goal.
Weak. very weak
