Back to back games on the road agains the Red Wings and Jackets make for a tough weekend for my favorite team. Detroit's playing the best hockey in the league and the Wild always seems to struggle in Ohio for some odd reason. My best case scenario has them getting 2 points this weekend, and my guess is they'll lose tonight 3-1 and come back on Saturday and beat Columbus 2-0 in a spirited performance.
This team continues to miss it's heart and soul, Mikko Koivu. Until he returns I hope we can stay in the thick of the Northwest Division race. When this team's at full strength I like our chances against anyone, but like all teams, injuries play a major role.

You think we'll beat CBJ? You certainly are an optimist.
They should beat Columbus. They handled them pretty well at the X earlier in the season. I think the loss a couple weeks ago was the aborration against that team (I hope).
I would certainly like to see them beat Columbus. Especially since the current game is so crummy.

aaaahj, thanks for that depressing stat! One thing's for sure, they're going to have to play alot better than they have the last two games. They can't get any offense going, and if they can actually get shots through the defense, they miss the net. Gabby & Demitra need to start carrying this team...
