I never thought I'd write this, but I wish the Wild would get back to their old trap-happy defensive style of hockey. Sure, 5-4 games are exciting and fun to watch, but I can't handle too much more of that. How many games can this team win while allowing 40-50 shots? I long for the days when Backstrom faced 17 shots in an entire game.
The Sharks are in town tonight for an early 6pm game. Hopefully I can sit on my couch, eat some crab legs and enjoy a 2-1 Wild victory, although the way they've been playing in their own zone I wouldn't be surprised for a 6-5 loss.

I'm with you to some extent. While I miss the days of no goals scored against us, I do enjoy the potential to score 4 or 5 goals a night. Tonight needs to be defensive for the Wild to win, so I predict 2-1 as well.
