While I'm happy for Marian becoming the team captain for the month of March, I can't help but think this was the time for Koivu. As I've pointed out endlessly before, Mikko is this team's true leader and deserves the permanent "C" on his jersey. I was sure JL was going to make him captain for March and the playoffs, but I guess not. I'm still calling him Captain Koivu regardless.

Good to see someone agrees with me about Koivu...I was reallllly hoping he would get it...
Hopefully Gaby will be a good captain. It will be interesting to see how he deals with it.
all i can think of is that he wants him to feel special, maybe now he'll play his "a" game more regularly

walkinvisible: Yes, Saku is also a captain, but calling him "Captain Koivu" would only be an issue at family functions.
