After another fortunate bounce, although truth be told the Wild did outplay the Avs in this one, I'm starting to really believe in the power of 88 Wok. The facts speak for themselves: since I started getting takeout from this Asian diner the Wild has not lost a playoff game. Last night I got the Beef Lo Mein and tried to make my own potstickers at home. The Lo Mein was good, but the potstickers were not...I think this led to the early Avalanche goal. Oh well, in any event, karma is on our side.
Gaborik had his best game of the series. He was very active, agressive and got 9 shots on goal. Burnsie was HUGE again and Backstrom, what can you say about Backstrom? He was awesome last night.
And yes, I'll be visiting a certain takeout place again tonight.

You gotta read this article.

Obviously our tough nature of hockey this year is a direct result of the Ducks' punishing play on us last year. Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, we'll pick up Chris Simon.
Yes, I already read it. I thought hard about posting it, but to do that would be to dignify it somehow. This guy's clearly not a real hockey fan and is just trying to get us fired up. Typical non-hockey columnist trash.
Congrats on the game. I stayed up after my Pens game to watch the Wild in Denver.
Great game. At first the Wild worried me, but in the 3rd they got more cycling chances on net and it was only a matter of time.
what a great game!
