I received an email from a lady in the United Kingdom last night who was interested in placing an advertisement on this site for a product she sells. I'm not going to go into specifics here, but let's just say she sells items that go on your feet, are bigger than shoes and Minnesotans wear them in the winter. It rhymes with smoots, except starting with a "b". Anyhow, talks seem to have broken off.
First and foremost I am not a businessman; I don't know much about negotiations. She threw out a number, I countered with my own and now we're at a standstill. I'd like to go back and accept the original offer, but I fear I have scared her off. Greedy Americans, she's probably thinking.
I started this web site as a hobby. It let me voice my opinions about the greatest sport and gave me a forum to do so. Along the way I've added a few sponsors for ridiculously small amounts of money and I will continue to do so in the future. But rest assured, dear readers, this site is not going to become a boot prostitute if I do come to terms with this British boot conglomerate. I pledge to remain neutral to all issues concerning furry footwear.
Hopefully I'll have more on this when we reach an agreement.
