Dear Mr. Havlat:
Let me first start off that we are absolutely thrilled about having you play for the Minnesota Wild. You are an electrifying player who will bring the Wild faithful to their feet several times in the upcoming season. You probably left money on the table from other offers and we salute you for choosing to play here. But having said all that, we really think it’s time you forgot about all that Chicago shenanigans.
Sure, I understand that you feel wronged by certain members of the Blackhawks management and ownership teams. Sure, things there were handled poorly and at times unethically. And yes, I know you have close friends in the organization that you feel were treated unfairly. It’s certainly your right to be heard on this, but from our perspective we think it’s time you moved on.
Focus on the future, Martin. Focus on turning Pierre-Marc Bouchard into a legitimate threat again. On helping the Captain win a Selke. Focus on reviving a dead power-play unit. You are here to help us return to the playoffs. And I’m sure you are capable of all this and more.
But just say your peace and leave it behind. Looking forward to the season.
Sincerely,
The Wild Puck Banter Staff

I think it's fair to say that's what Havlat's done today. He's saying his piece now. If he continues this over the summer, then I would worry.
I tend to get his frustration that he never felt he had a chance to be resigned in Chicago. And I'm glad the Wild should benefit from that.
Still from a player relations standpoint, does Havlat still seek the Wild out with Doug Riseborough at the helm? I'm guessing not...
Hey Marty,
Help Fletcher out with some tips about some of the Chicago players that would be good for our team to get. They are in cap hell right now and you might know more about who they might try to get rid of and what they might be looking for in return. Also, with your reasonable cap hit that you took/offered to be with us, shows your Team-oriented approach, and your dedication to helping an organization out for bringing in and keeping more players instead of having a one-man team. You will love it here. Can't wait to cheer for you and Our team's success every game!!
You think that Havlat will be better than Gaborik
