As I was stumbling through the channel guide last week I came across the movie "The Game" starring Michael Douglas and Sean Penn. I swore I have watched this movie at least 8 times, but I was sucked in again.
I like this film a lot, but I don't know why. Michael Douglas plays the same character in every movie he's in, a wealthy business dude who hates life. Sean Penn is his brother who's seemingly mixed up with the wrong crowd yet again. And there's the guy who plays the evil, condscending dude (Scent of a Woman, Talented Mr. Ripley, etc...) in every thing he stars in.
But the story gets me every single time. It's creepy and director David Fincher makes it work. Next time you're flipping through the guide and see it listed, stop and check it out.
