I cannot watch another minute of NHL Network programming until they start churning out something worth watching. Is it too much to ask that they include an original, new show every once in a while? I think I have seen every episode of "Oil Change" twice. And I don't really care to relive the 2013 Playoffs either.
Now I know that there is not much hockey-related they can broadcast in August, but maybe think outside of the norm a bit. Show some hockey-themed films like "Youngblood" and "Mystery, Alaska". Maybe run a "Chico and the Man" marathon...not at all hockey-related, but an overlooked gem none the less. And some original programming would work too. I would make a point to watch a show where NHL Tonight Host Kathryn Tappen reviews vacation destinations.
In any event, the long summer is almost over.
